HOME meet vs BCC Thursday 6/1
Stingray families,
Our first meet will be a HOME meet against the BCC Barracudas! Parking is limited, so you are welcome to drop your swimmers off at the clubhouse before parking on the street and walking back - please follow all the posted parking signs in the neighborhood. Our bullpens will be located behind the baby pool.
The coaches are so pleased with the progress all of the swimmers have made in our past few weeks of practice and are excited to see them compete this week. The theme of the meet is USA, in recognition of Memorial Day. Come dressed in your most festive Americana wear to show your team spirit!
Plan to arrive by 4:00 to give your swimmers time to double check their event entries and get settled before warmups. Events will be posted at the bullpens, but can also be accessed on your Swimtopia app for each swimmer.
As usual for June, the weather can be unpredictable. Please remember that we show up for the meet regardless of the weather and any decisions about inclement weather are made by the head coaches, team reps, and the official if necessary. Make sure that all involved parents/guardians are included in your family profile, so they will receive any pertinent texts or emails concerning the meet.
Now that the weather is less chilly, remind your swimmers to hydrate throughout the day as well as during the meet. There will be a hotdogs, pasta and Chick Fil A for sale at the meet, along with light concessions (drinks, chips, candy) for cash and credit.
Thanks to everyone who signed up for their volunteer positions early - we currently have all but 4 positions for the meet filled. We still need some assistance with 2nd shift timing, 7/8 & 9/10 girls bullpens. Don't forget to check in with our Volunteer Coordinator, Karah Stanley, when you arrive at the meet and to check out with her when your shift is completed.
